Here are some great offers from the tablets sale that you wouldn’t want to miss.

TECLAST TBOOK 10S

Teclast TBook 10 S ReviewThe TECLAST TBOOK 10S is a budget priced convertible tablet that offers a solid design and decent specs, all for just $164.99.

Design and Build Quality

The TBook 10s’ design is one of its strongest selling points. Unlike many other Chinese manufacturers, Teclast has done justice to the design and looks of its latest device. Even at this price point, the Teclast Tbook 10S features a magnificent design with smaller bezels. It sports 24.65 x 16.59 x 0.80 cm dimensions and weighs 574 grams.

Display

The TBook 10S features a screen size of 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. That measures out to 224 pixels-per-inch (PPI), making it sharper than average for a tablet display. With a vivid touch screen and adaptive display technology, the tablet promises to bring your photos and videos to life.

Performance

The Teclast Tbook 10S is powered by quad-core 1.44GHz 64bit Intel Cherry Trail X5 Z8350 chipset along with integrated Intel HD Graphics Gen8 GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD slot. Though you wouldn’t face any difficulties streaming videos or surfing the web, playing graphics-hungry games on the convertible tablet is not a good idea. The device runs Windows 10 operating system.

Battery Life

It is backed by a 3.8V / 22800mWh battery, which is pretty enough for 6 hours for typical use. However, the figure falls 25% shorter than the average battery life we’ve seen in other tablets in the price range. To overcome the battery life issues, the manufacturer has done an appreciable job by adding an extra battery that is embedded on the optional keyboard.

Additional features

The tablet comes with a fully functional stylus to let users enjoy smooth drawing and writing on the screen. Other features include a built-in dual channel speakers that offer decent audio quality and a 2MP front facing camera for video calling. The additional keyboard that comes along with the device is self-powered, so you don’t have to worry about the keyboard draining the battery life.  It’s worth mentioning that the tablet is capable of reverse charging, meaning that it can be used to charge other devices on the go. On the connectivity front, the 2-in-1 tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and comes with ports including a DC jack, TF card slot, MicroUSB slot, Mini HDMI, USB 2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pros

  • Super affordable
  • Full HD display
  • Beautiful design with smaller bezels
  • Additional battery embedded on keyboard
  • Works great for daily usage – streaming videos, browsing web, reading e-books
  • Stylus is a plus point

Cons

  • No rear camera
  • Battery capacity is comparatively low
  • Not ideal for gaming
  • No USB-C port

Should You Buy It?

Well, if you’re looking forward to buying a tablet for day to day use and you’re not much into gaming, then the Teclast Tbook 10S might just suit you. Moreover, it is heavily discounted in the ongoing tablet sale at GearBest and is available for $164.99.

TECLAST TBOOK 16 POWER

Teclast TBook 16 Power ReviewThe TBook 16 Power is a premium offering from the Chinese company Teclast, that has a solid design and high specifications. It’s now available for $329.99 on GearBest as a part of their “January Tablet Deals“.

Design and Build Quality

The TBook 16 looks and feels solid. Although the frames of the tablet mods are manufactured using plastics, the rear is forged from a metal alloy called magnalium. Also, the edges are slightly curved with the perfect finish, further adding glory to the design. It sports 30.30 x 17.95 x 1.00 cm dimension ratio and weighs 997 grams.

Display

The tablet sports a 11.6-inch large screen with 1920×1080 pixels resolution, and also adopts IGOZ technology for better experience when watching videos, and playing games. Due to the larger screen, we won’t see some great depth even on the full HD resolution because of low pixel density count of 190 ppi. Apart from that, the viewing angles are just great; thanks to the IPS screen.

Performance

The best part about the Teclast TBook 16 is its performance. It is powered by quad-core 1.3GHz Intel Atom X7-Z8750 processor along with integrated Intel HD Gen8 GPU, 8GB RAM and 64GB eMMC storage. The storage can, however, be expanded by inserting a TF card to 128GB. During the review, windows games like Dota 2 and Warcraft managed to run smoothly on the device with decent FPS. Also, the device runs Windows 10 out of the box.

Battery Life

The device is backed by a 8500 mAh battery that is decent enough to run for 7+ hours on average use.

Additional features

With kickstand on the rear cover, the tablet can handle the work in different places. It features built-in dual channel speakers, a 5MP rear camera for shooting some HD videos and pictures and a decent 2MP front camera for video calling. On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and features numerous ports including a DC port, 3.5mm headphone jack, standard USB 2.0, Micro HDMI, and MicroSD slot. There’s also a USB Type C port, unfortunately, it doesn’t power any external HDDs.

Pros

  • Full HD screen
  • A better processor
  • Massive 8GB RAM
  • Addition of USB C port
  • Great battery life
  • Both rear and front cameras present

Cons

  • No support for SIM cards
  • It’s bit heavier at 997 grams

Why Should You Buy The TBook 16 Power?

If you’re looking for a tablet priced around $350, on which you can play some really good games with decent FPS, then you might need this one. The Teclast TBook 16 Power is available for a highly discounted price of $329 on GearBest. It should be noted that the deal ends in about 4 days from today.

Battery Life
