Moto G5 Plus is the one that amazed me the most, packing all the goodies like a stunning metal design, great processor and an astonishing camera, all for just $229. The G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch screen with a Full HD resolution for an amazing 424 ppi. This Nougat-running device is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset Snapdragon 625 and is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

Lenovo released the smartphone in three storage variants, with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, BT 4.2, NFC, VoLTE, 4G and GLONASS. It comes with an amazing 12MP rear camera and a decent 5MP camera for the selfies. Apart from that, the G5 plus sport sensors including fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

Following the G5 Plus, the next best cheap smartphone to enter our list is none other than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Sporting a phablet-sized 5.5-inch Full HD screen, the smartphone comes with either Snapdragon 625 or Helio X20 chipset, depending on the region. It is available in two storage variants, 3GB RAM/16GB storage, and 4GB RAM /32GB storage. The former costs around $188 while the later carries a price tag of $242.

The handset is backed by an astounding 4100 mAh battery, and the battery life is just remarkable. However, the camera quality is only decent with a 13MP, f/2.0 rear camera, and a 5MP, f/2.0 front-facing camera. Besides, it comes with all the normal connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, BT 4.1, LTE, 4G, and GLONASS. It features sensors including fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It runs Android 6.0 marshmallow out of the box.

  • Huawei Honor 6X

Coming toward the end, we have the Huawei Honor 6X with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, running Android 6.0 marshmallow out of the box. The smartphone feature Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 655 chipset, along with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage. The base version of the handset costs around $250 in the United States.

Furthermore, the Honor 6X has a pretty amazing camera, featuring a dual 12MP+2MP rear sensor, and an 8MP front camera. Other than that, the smartphone comes with 3340 mAh battery, and connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, BT 4.1, LTE, 4G, and GLONASS. Senors included in the smartphone are fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
